Shipping & handling


Delivery costs are calculated during checkout from the total size and weight of your order. Our fees are based on Australia Post’s current rates.

Express Post – $11.95
Parcel Post – $8.95
Tracked Letter – $4.70 (small items only)

Our standard shipping fee for most orders is $8.95 to anywhere in Australia. This fee includes Australia Post tracking and insurance cover for up to $100 in value. Extra cover may be purchased – please contact us before ordering – and will be added to the shipping cost.

Some of our smaller items are able to be posted in a letter-sized flat mailer for $4.70 including tracking and cover.

We offer an Express Post option for $11.95, however, please note that this is a postage option and will not affect the time it takes for us to process your order. Also, we live in a rural area, so your order will be sent from outside Australia Post’s Express Network.

Larger or bulky orders may incur extra shipping costs. If you encounter a message at checkout saying there are no shipping methods, it simply means your items are too large or heavy for our standard shipping options – please contact us for a custom shipping quote before submitting your order.

There is no delivery fee for downloadable items.

Free delivery on orders over $100

This offer applies to orders totalling $100 or more in value that will fit in our regular shipping boxes. Orders must have a delivery address within Australia to qualify. Your order will be shipped via Australia Post in a tracked parcel.

Sorry, free delivery is not available for ant colonies or large and bulky orders.

Order processing

Shipments will be processed promptly following receipt of payment and in the order they are received. Processing for customised items will (of course) take longer than for stock items. Delivery may take between 2 to 14 business days. Please allow for extra processing and delivery time during holiday and peak seasons.

All physical products will be shipped by Australia Post unless noted otherwise in the description for a specific item (e.g. if an item is too large it will be sent by a reputable courier).

All items will be carefully packaged to protect them from unintentional damage. However, we can’t 100% guarantee safe delivery. If an item is damaged or lost in transit, it is the buyer’s responsibility to resolve this with Australia Post. We will provide as much assistance as we can but we take no responsibility for lost or damaged items.

Please ensure you provide correct contact details – we take no responsibility for items lost due to incorrect address details. Your email address will be used to send you tracking information through Australia Post.

Digital and downloadable items will be delivered immediately on receipt of payment. Depending on the item, you will be provided with a personalised download link or sent an email with instructions for downloading.


Ants will be shipped by Express Post and will require a signature on delivery. We will not ship ants if the daytime temperature is expected to be above 30°C (we will email you to let you know if your shipment will be delayed).

Strictly Australian sales only. We do not export ants. We will only ship ants within the eastern states of mainland Australia (we don’t ship to Tasmania or Western Australia due to their strict biosecurity laws).

Ants will only be shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays. If you order later in the week, your ants will be shipped the following week.

We package your ants carefully and guarantee your queens will be alive when delivered or we will replace (or refund) your purchase.

International shipping

We can ship items internationally (except ants, of course) but please contact us for a quote before making a purchase. Please note that the buyer takes full responsibility for any customs or import fees that may be incurred.
