Fused Glass

a family effort

These pendants, cufflinks, earrings and magnets are a combined effort between myself, my sister & my late mother. They were made in our family workshop and fired in mum’s pottery kiln.

Each item was created using multiple, hand-cut pieces of Bullseye art glass arranged in layers to form unique designs. Brass, copper, sterling silver or 24-carat gold were included in some items as part of the layering process. After being carefully transferred to a kiln shelf, the pieces were fused and annealed with continuous monitoring of the kiln temperature during all critical heating and cooling stages.

All designs are one-of-a-kind and will never be repeated. They would make an affordable and unusual gift for just about any occasion.
