An established Aphaenogaster longiceps starter colony – they’re ready for a small outworld!

These ants are known as Funnel Ants due to the shape of their nest entrance, and they are relatively common in all states of Australia. The workers are approx. 5 mm long. These ants do not sting and are suitable for keeping in a classroom or home.
